Established in 1979, Ducab is the leading cable manufacturing company in the region and is equally owned by the Government of Dubai and Government of Abu Dhabi. Ducab has three major facilities that support it's continues growth, one facility in Jebel Ali and two in Abu Dhabi Industrial city.

Over the last 30 years, the production capacity has increased rapidly. Using its state of art technology, Ducab currently manufactures High Voltage cables 132kV, Ducab Power Plus Medium Voltage Cables, Low Voltage XLPE cables, PVC Insulated building wires, Control and Auxiliary cables, Low smoke and fume cables and Ducab FR (fire resistant cables). Ducab also supplies Ducab Connect Cable Components and Accessories.

Ducab has always placed importance on quality in its organization and is certified to ISO 9001: 2008 quality management systems and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. Ducab is a three-time winner of the Dubai Quality Award (2004 & 1998 (Gold) & 1994). It has implemented manufacturing and business excellence programs involving Six Sigma, Kaizen and benchmarking with the world's leading organizations.
